January 2, 2008 – as reported in Publishers Marketplace, Courtney’s next book has been sold to Simon & Schuster:

Middle grade Courtney Sheinmel's POSITIVELY, the story of a twelve-year-old, HIV-positive, courageous girl who finds hope and redemption in the face of a string of unthinkable tragedies, based on the author's experiences working with the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, to David Gale at Simon & Schuster Children's, by Alex Glass at Trident Media Group (World English).
